Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your PDFs, your text, names and pictures are never uploaded.
How do I watermark a PDF?
Add your PDF, type your text (or pick CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, COPY …) or choose a picture, then press Add watermark and download.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose Picture and add a PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF or SVG. Transparent PNGs keep their transparency. Set its size and opacity.
Can the watermark be transparent or behind the text?
Yes. Set the opacity, and choose "Behind it" to put it under the page's content. On scanned pages a watermark behind the content is hidden, so keep it over the content there.
Can I make a different copy for each person?
Yes. Under "One copy per name", list the names, one per line. Each copy gets that person's name in the watermark, and you download them all as a ZIP.
Can a watermark be removed?
A watermark shows whose document it is. It doesn't stop copying, and PDF editors can delete a normal watermark. "Make it harder to remove" turns pages into pictures, which makes removing it harder, not impossible.
Can you remove a watermark from my PDF?
No. Watermarks often carry a copyright notice, so we don't remove them.
Can I use a password-protected PDF?
Yes. We'll ask for its password, which stays on your device. The PDF stays locked with the same password unless you turn that off under Saving.
Can I add page numbers too?
Yes. Turn on Page numbers in the same panel: one save adds both.
