Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your contract, form or ID never reaches our servers, and neither does your signature.
How do I sign a PDF?
Add the PDF, tap Signature, draw, type or photograph your signature, then tap where it goes. Move or resize it if needed and tap Save PDF.
Can I use a photo of my real signature?
Yes. Sign on white paper and take a photo (or choose one). We remove the paper and shadows on your device and keep only the ink, in its own colour or in black or blue.
Can I fill in a form too?
Yes. If the PDF has form fields, type and tick right on the page; "Sign here" boxes take your signature. For forms without fields, add text, dates and ✓ wherever you need them.
How do I add my initials to every page?
Add your initials once, select them and choose "Every page…". They go to the same spot on every page (or the pages you pick), and you can still remove any one.
Is this a legally valid signature?
A drawn, typed or photo signature is an electronic signature, like signing a paper copy; it doesn't verify who signed. Add a certificate signature for proof that the PDF hasn't changed and of which certificate signed it; readers verify your identity only for certificates from authorities they trust. Rules differ by country and by document, so if you're unsure, ask the person who needs the document.
Do you keep my signature?
Only if you turn on "Remember on this device", and then only in this browser, never on our servers. You can delete it any time, or forget all signatures in one tap.
Can the receiver change what I filled in?
Not with "Lock answers" on (the default): answers become part of the page. Turn it off if the form should stay fillable.
Can I sign a password-protected PDF?
Yes. We'll ask for its password, which stays on your device. The signed PDF keeps the same password unless you turn that off in More options.
Can I sign a PDF on my phone?
Yes. Draw with your finger or take a photo of your signature, tap where it goes, then tap Save PDF and "Save to Files" (on Android, "Save or share"). Free, no sign-up, no watermark, up to 2,000 pages and 200 MB.
Can I sign with my digital certificate (DSC)?
If your certificate is a .p12 or .pfx file, yes: turn on Certificate signature and type its password. The file and password stay on your device. Most Indian DSCs live on a USB token, which a browser can't reach: use your token's own signing app for those. No certificate? Make one here; readers will show it as not verified.
Can I sign a PDF that someone already signed?
Yes. We add your signature and anything else after their signatures, so theirs stay valid, and we show whether each one is unchanged. If they certified it against changes, we tell you what's still allowed.
